Fiercely talented Joshua Alamu’s CV reads like a who’s who of the London Music Scene. Working with critically acclaimed artists such as The Band with No Name, West Life, Will Young, Beverly Knight, 911, Daniel Bedingfield, All Saints and Joss Stone to name but a few, Joshua has also firmly cemented a name for himself as one of the most sought after and highly respected Voice coaches in London.
Joshua’s background as a certified Speech Level Singing™ instructor gave him the foundation he needed before moving on to pursue further studies and research into how the voice works and how to bring about effective results in different voice types and vocal styles, hence the name “Mad About The Voice”, which refers to Joshua’s skill, passion and enthusiasm for this special instrument.
Josh has also worked on hugely popular TV Shows Like: ‘The Voice’ series 1 and 2 for BBC1, ‘Pop Idol’ for ITV and been vocal coach to BBC’s ‘Just The Two of Us’, Channel 4′s ‘Musicool’ for T4, BBC 1’s ‘Dance-X’; where we saw him take to our TV screens as a Judge with Arlene Phillips and Bruno Tonioli’ and channel 5’s ‘Don’t stop believing’.
He has also appeared as guest vocal coach on shows such as, ‘Trinny and Susannah undress the nation’ and ‘Blue Peter’. Joshua is passionate, dedicated and down to earth!
